Get your kids in on the action held on Saturday, June 28th 2008 4:00PM-6:00pm (the day before the adult event).

A safe, OAT sanctioned event for kids aged 6 to 15.

Swim goes along the shore from Olmstead beach and loops back to the transition at Olmstead beach.

Bike starts on Coreen Crescent next to the transition, and continues out along Sage Road then returns to the transition area. The entire bike course is contained within the Birchaven area, distance according to age category.

Run leaves transition and heads out Lakeside looping back to the finish.

*Rewards ceremony following the event with food, refreshments, finishers medals and T-shirts for all participants.

Equipment Needed

  • Swimsuit or shorts
  • Bathing Cap, (provided)
  • Bike in good working order
  • Snell or ANSI approved cycling helmet
  • Running Shoes
  • T-shirt for bike and run

*All starts will be in waves by age category, (10-20 minutes apart)
Distances are approximate, shallow water swim
Flat bike and run through residential area

 

Entry Fees

  • Kids Triathlon Ages 6-9 $25.00
  • Kids Triathlon Ages 10-15 $30.00
